Modern area
We are in modern era, and our wedding videos should be too. I’m sure most of us have seen an old wedding video that was transfer from a VHS “Video Home System” (if you don’t know what this is than just book us know) VHS is the old tape format that videos where deliver, this was before DVD by the way. Any ways this videos where not the best cheese transition and titles, boring cuts if any, music was terrible… not to mention long and long. But that was then today we have drones, wireless microphone, light, special equipment that make video look like something coming from Hollywood. If you pick the right videographer your wedding should be as beautiful as your dress.
A picture is worth a thousand words
I still think you need a photographer in your wedding, but I do not recommend hiring a photographer who does video is like ordering sushi from burger joint. I’m sure I’ll have someone email about this soon. With a video, you are able to experience things that you would not be able to do with just a photo. You get to see and hear your exchange vows, the best man and maid of honor toast. Relive the cutting of the cake, first dance, bouquet toss, wedding garter and well if you have the right video it would all be put together in a movie like quality with music and sound play in your living room.
The Gift
After your big day is over what would you do next? I know! you need to send thank you cards and gather the wedding party back together to celebrate and thank them(movie night feature playing your wedding video). But what if you could also send everyone who came to your wedding a highlight link to your video… imagine having to send VHS to everyone? Lol. I think the best thing about a wedding videos is the day you get to enjoy that special moment with your love ones. And when I mean your love ones is your little family that you and the special someone you marry creates… How cool would it be to show your future generation that moment.
I believed that what we do here at DC Monkey Films is special because the moments we capture are made to keep for an eternity.
